Fort
Lauderdale Archers is a private, non-profit organization
dedicated to promoting the sport of archery. Located at 4590
SW 46 Avenue (entrance on Peters
Road just west of State Road 7/441), and only minutes from
most areas of Broward County, this 35-acre, 5-star rated club features a
90-meter Fita range, a flint range consisting of targets from
10-yards to 80-yards, two national ASA 3-D ranges and a
28-target field course.
We currently have over 350 members of all ages, welcoming a
variety of archery styles from traditional and Olympic recurve
to compound, hunters and non-hunters alike. In fact,
many of our new members join without any prior archery
experience, later choosing their individual style after
observing fellow members or taking lessons from any of our
highly accredited NFAA certified instructors or pro shooters. |

Member,
Participating Member and Full-time Student memberships are
available. Once a registered member, you are provided with the
key to the main gate and storeroom locks,
offering you 24-hour, 7-day a week access to the club.
Lighting is accessible as well for those who enjoy shooting
at night, and in-season targets are provided at no
cost.
Fort
Lauderdale Archers offers year round enjoyment for members,
hosting various monthly club shoots, seasonal leagues and
Regional, State and Sectional shoots. January through June,
Tuesday night league consists of 3-D animal targets on the
flint range, while November through January it’s the 20-yard
Indoor league. Our annual BBQ is held in April, bringing
everyone together for an afternoon of awards, fun dining and
camaraderie. |

Work parties
are scheduled one Sunday each month, allowing members an
opportunity to help improve their club while earning credits
toward a reduction in membership dues. Work parties may
include clearing field targets, mowing fields, trimming trees
and bushes, general target maintenance, etc. Additional
work party credits may be earned by assisting during
tournaments and special events. Members are also encouraged to
acquire credits in their spare time.
The Quiver
Quotes is an online newsletter designed to keep members
informed of upcoming tournaments and events, scores from
recently held events, photographs and important club news.
