Adding Calendars to Your Device

Mobile Devices

iPhone
  1. Open the Settings App (From the home screen, swipe Left to Right or Top to Bottom to search, then enter "Settings")
  2. Scroll down and tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
  3. Tap "Add Account"
  4. Tap "Other" account at the bottom
  5. Tap "Add Subscribed Calendar" at the bottom
  6. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Server" field
  7. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Description" field
  8. Tap "Next" to add the calendar, then "Done"

Android
  1. On a desktop computer, open the following link in a browser:
    http://calendar.google.com/
  2. On the left side, under "Other Calendars" click "Add by URL"
  3. Enter the Calendar URL in the "URL" field
  4. Click "Add Calendar"
  5. On your Android Device go to the following location:
    Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Calendar
  6. Click "Clear Data"
  7. On your Android Device go to the following location:
    Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Calendar Storage
  8. Click "Clear Data"
  9. The Android Device will re-sync the calendar data from Google and the calendar will show up

Windows Phone
  1. Open the following link in a browser:
    http://calendar.live.com/
  2. Click "Import" on the top of the site
  3. Click "Subscribe" on the left side of the site
  4. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Calendar URL" field
  5. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Calendar name" field
  6. Click "Subscribe"
  7. On Your Windows Phone, go to the following location:
    Settings > Email & Accounts > Windows Live
  8. Long Tap on "Windows Live" till an option for "Sync" appears
  9. Tap "Sync"

Blackberry
  1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen
  2. Tap the Settings Icon (Gear)
  3. Tap "Accounts"
  4. Tap the Add Email icon (envelope with '@' sign and '+' sign.
  5. Tap "Subscribed Calendar"
  6. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Calendar Name" field
  7. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Server Address" field
  8. Tap "Done"

 

Desktop Applications

Windows Live Mail
  1. Open the following link in a browser:
    http://calendar.live.com/
  2. Click "Import" on the top of the site
  3. Click "Subscribe" on the left side of the site
  4. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Calendar URL" field
  5. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Calendar name" field
  6. Click "Subscribe"
  7. Open Windows Live Mail
  8. Click "Send/Receive" and select "All Calendars"

Outlook
  1. Close Outlook
  2. Open Windows Control Panel
  3. Open the "Mail" applet (Under "User Accounts" in Category View)
  4. Click the "E-Mail Accounts" button
  5. Click on the "Internet Calendars" tab
  6. Click "New..."
  7. Enter the Calendar URL in the box
  8. Click "Add", then "Close", then "Close"

Older Versions of Outlook Don't Support Internet Calendars and Require Third Party Plug-ins to use them

Thunderbird - Lightning
  1. On the top right, click the Settings Menu (Three Lines)
  2. Click the Arrow to the right of "New Message"
  3. Click "Calendar"
  4. Choose "On the Network" and Click "Next"
  5. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Location" field and Click "Next"
  6. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Name" field, Click "Next" and Click "Finish"

Apple Calendar
  1. Click "File" and select "New Calendar Subscription"
  2. Enter the Calendar URL
  3. Click "Subscribe"
  4. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Name" field and Click "OK"

 

Online Calendars

Google Calendar
  1. Open the following link in a browser:
    http://calendar.google.com/
  2. On the left side, under "Other Calendars" click "Add by URL"
  3. Enter the Calendar URL in the "URL" field
  4. Click "Add Calendar"

Yahoo calendar
  1. Open the following link in a browser:
    http://calendar.yahoo.com/
  2. On the top center, click the "Actions" dropdown
  3. Click "Subscribe to Other Calendars"
  4. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Calendar name" field
  5. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Calendar URL" field
  6. Click "Continue"

Outlook.com calendar
  1. Open the following link in a browser:
    http://calendar.live.com/
  2. Click "Import" on the top of the site
  3. Click "Subscribe" on the left side of the site
  4. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Calendar URL" field
  5. Enter a Name for the calendar in the "Calendar name" field
  6. Click "Subscribe"
