Board Members and Work Parties:
The Club is run by the Board of Directors or simply the Board Members. Board Members are elected each December for the upcoming year by the members. Board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month and are open to all members. The Club’s maintenance is done solely by the members themselves.
Generally, the Club has on average one work party a month which is usually held on a Saturday morning. Fort Lauderdale Archers would like all members to share the responsibility for the maintenance of the range by participating in at least 5 work parties annually. During a work party, the ranges are closed to all shooting. The range is also a sanctuary, and the shooting of wildlife is against the law.
